We are ending our term at Brampton with a flourish of spades and a whole school project. Last weekend we began to create our own vegetable garden in the grounds. Staff, parents and pupils all spent a very warm Saturday lifting turf, digging beds and using a rotivator to turn the soil (that was a parent, not the staff). We now have a garden with twelve vegetable beds, one for each class to adopt. We will also have one bed raised so that it is easily accessible for adults and children.
